No sound to specific VHS tape?

I bought a VHS tape, went to play it and there is absolutly no sound to it all. It's not my VCR because all my other tapes play fine. I did however notice that something sounds broken off (small plastic rattling)inside the VHS tape. Is there a way to fix my tape so I get the sound back?

The tensioner may be broken which could cause part of the tape to not contact the tape head. If you can carefully dismantle the tape and then either exchange the bad part with one from a new good tape container, OR use super glue (make sure none contacts any moving part or the tape itself) to repair the bad part. This "might" fix the problem. I "think" the audio is on one edge of the tape which may not be contacting well.
