How do I change the filter on a Hotpoint WF540 ?

The filter is at the rear of the machine. You will need to pull the machine out and tilt it forward, prop it up with something i.e a tin of peas will do. Remove the lower rear panel and slide a tray or shallow bowl under the sump hose (to catch any water) or you could just soak the floor if you want! Remove the sump hose from the machine and the filter is inside.
