I have another pb, you can help me.
The power supply is down there is a 8 pins explosed then i cant see the reference can you read it and tell me please?
The chip is 8 pins solder on the circuit of the power

I have the same problem. I've taken the top off and had a good look inside. IT seems that the lazer isn't focusing anymore. You could try cleaning the laser with a cotton bud (very light touching) but this only solved the problem for a couple of hours.
If you take the top of the player then remove the large silver plate the dvd can be taken out easily.

I also have the same problem, and I was wondering how I can sort it? My proline DVD 2000 has a DVD in the drive, and i can't even get it out any more. Any ideas?
