Mend Ford Fit Help Told

can you fit 2002 oil cooler to a 2000 2.4 duratorq?

can any one help i have a 2000 2.4 duratorq transit and have been told the oil cooler has gorn as oil is in the water system ford told me this is a common problem with this engine and a new oil cooler would only last 6 months can you put a oil cooler on from a newer model please help
