how to get hot water?

i have a vaillant boiler the central heating is working but no hot water or flame when you switch to hot water only

Vaillant Vaillant ecoTEC D.I.Y, Plumbing Central Heating No Hot Water Vaillant

I have a vaillant 828 boiler and the heating and water intermittently does not work on a daily basis. One minute their working then maybe 10 minutes their not. What is the problem. The system guage pressure is also gone past the red zone.
