I have a Bosch dishwasher and it will not fill with water?

the water valve appears to work as one can play with the valve to get water to go into the tank. could it be an electrical fault somewhere?
I have the same dishwasher but there is no display panel located on the machine. It's entirely push button wash selection and a dial timer. What display?

Try resetting the machine:
- Press the first and third button together for 2 seconds. It will display "0" then take about a minute to shut down.
- Switch the machine off for a few minutes.
- Switch it on again and it should work.

The reset appeared to fix mine, although this was hampered by the fact my 'economy' button is temperamental!
