I have a B&Q Performance electric chainsaw which electrically is fine, plug it in press the trigger and the chain races round, but as soon as I put any pressure on the to chain, i.e. attempt to cut a small log the chain stops revolving and will not go again until the pressure is eased. The chain saw is about 4 years old and has not had a lot of use. Any suggestions please .
B&Q will give you the Performance Power helpline number (I have it, but not to hand). They will supply spares (if they are still in production)

I too have a B&Q P Performance PWR 1800CSC chainsaw with the same problem. An engineer friend has taken it to bits and found that the spring surrounding the drive to the sprocket is broken. I am trying to find out if spares are obtainable
