Mend Tefal Protect Turbo Steam Base

How do I fix Tefal Protect Turbo Steam Generator Steam Escaping From Base?

How do I fix my Tefal Protect Turbo Steam Generator. There is lots of steam coming out of the base of the generator. The manual just says it is faulty and send for repair.

Tefal Tefal Protect Turbo Household Appliances, Steam Irons Tefal Steam Base

We had the same problem. The venting steam is probably from the pressure release valve. We solved it by putting it through the anti-calc process again. This released some large bits of scale and stopped steam escaping.
