when you say removeing the power? what dou actualy mean?? i am going to replace the indicater stalk on my daughters 307 and would be gratefull for a little advice on how.... please

Making they assumption that someone has told you to "remove the power" before fiddling with anything electrical on a car, they mean disconnect the battery. Be aware that doing this often causes a loss of things like Radio Codes, ensure that you have any codes you need to hand before you disconnect the battery.
