I found an guy on eBay who fixed my classic model 4700 handle in a week for $25. Quadpacer works like new; I had three brush-heads that do not fit the new handles so I took a chance and I am glad I did.

Look for "Sonic Repair." Great e-business person!

The sonicare tothbrush body is welded together and can with patience be opened up by careful cutting and the rechargeable batteries replaced but the visual results of the unit when the 2 halves are glued back together is not pretty.
