Mend Sony 6006E Cd Unit Noise

CD not registering?

I have a 6006E head unit in my car and have put a new CD in slot 1. When I put this in it made a loud noise and would not eject the CD. I held the eject button down and ejected all of the other CD's but the first one did not come out. It is now not registering that there is a CD in there at all!
