Mend Peugeot 206 Locking Wheel Nuts

Locking Wheel Nuts?

I recently purchased a car on EBAY which I am pleased with. However I took the car into my garage with a slow puncture expecting to buy a new tyre. Just one of the wheel nuts is locking on each wheel and there is no key. Can anybody recommend a way of releasing these locking nuts or any place who could release them. I have tried Kwik Fit without success and have also been told that the sockets that are available to break the lock are not very good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My car is a peugeot 206.

Plastic beeds work well, I got some a few years ago at the Earls Court Motor Show, these beeds melt in hot water and have tons of uses, 1. Melt beeds in hot water, when dissolved fill a slightly bigger socket and then push onto the lock nut leave in position until beeds re-harden, 2. place your ratchet onto the socket give a good pull and of it comes, remember to replace with new lock nuts or standard wheel nuts.

i heard that if you get a socket piece for a rachet sanner, of a slighty smaller sizer then the locking wheel nut, and hammer it onto to wheel nut, you can get them off, but this will mess up both the nut and spanner piece

You could contact the previous owner shown on registration document they may have forgot to leave the key in the car, or secreted it somewhere and forgot to tell you where. Some cars have a small elogated well about 50mm x 75-100mm long and 25mm deep which is where the chassis number is stamped, my Sierra had one an that's where I kept the key.
Have a search in every spot behind removable panels, in areas under the bonnet it could be placed, you'll be supprised where people put wheel nut lock key and ignition keys.
Alternatively if you know someone in AA,RAC or other breakdown service ask them if they would phone up their help desk and ask where you can get them taken off. Obviously you will have to prove to the garage it's your car, so take all documentation and a utility bill to prove the address. You might not need any but it's better to have it with you than having to go back. Sorry I can't help any further. Mine I knocked off with a cold chisel and club hammer but that was only one that had the key points knackered and the key wouldn't undo it.
