Mend Bernina 1006 Sewing Machine

how can I fix my Bernina 1006 sewing machine?

Bobbin cotton continues to tangle on underside of material. I do not have an instruction manual and after several attempts to rectify the problem, I have had no success

Check threading. Thread should form an 'N' shape at front of machine. Check bobbin is in its case and thread is through slot so that tension is firm. Check bobbin case is inserted properly and not loose.

Hello Dianne,
Sounds like a tension problem, make sure the presser foot is up when you thread the machine, top tension about 5, you should just be able to pull the thread on the bobbin case with slight resistence, if you e-mail me below I will attache a list of sites for manuals.
