Indesit wA105 washing machine selector timer clicking?

I have the same problem but my RED light flashes on and off , then the lock light stays on and water enters the soap draw. The the program selector knob just keeps clicking and turning. I have looked at my PCB and my EPROM is soldered in. Could it be the same problem or related to something else ?

check that your thermistor and module are wired up correctly

because the knob only tells the circuit board what to do it is only a selector the fact that it is clicking means the machine has sensed a fault with itself. to rectify ramove rear panel access circuit board note/photograph all wires & connections disconnect pcb all wires. you will see a small plug in microchip (an eeprom) pull it out pcb and short all pins together on something metal reassemble & try again if fault re occurs then something else has been sensed by pcb then check for pump out motor action heating and filling ok good luck hope it helps
