Mend Smeg DW1612C Dishwasher Flashing Light Appliance

How can I fix my Smeg Dishwasher model DW1612C?

I have a smeg dishwasher model DW1612C the 4th button light along is just flashing, the day before this happened the door would not open. I opened eventually using force. Any ideas?

I have just had the same problem. Had to force the door open with a crow bar. Re set machine and ran again and guess what couldn't open the door.

I am trying a new door catch but not sure if this is correct?
