kenmore model 148.13101 zig zag?

the hand wheel is very hard to turn and the needle doesn't go up and down also the bobbin is loose

Hello Liz,
First check to make sure there is no thread at all stuck in the bobbin case area, if you have a side or front loading bobbin case take the whole thing out to check it, make sure you have oiled the machine, use WD40, if you have the bobbin case type as above make sure it clicks into place.
