Mend Whirlpool Oven Gas Range

Odor when oven is on?

We have a Whirlpool gas range that is 8 yrs. old. When ever we use the oven, there is a bad odor that comes from it. The oven is clean and the range has been moved out from the wall and checked under it, etc.
Please comment with idea's. TK

What kind of odor? Sometimes when gas in a line has been sitting for a while, when it is turned on there is a terrible stinky odor. When I had a old house it had a gas bathroom heater. I turned it on one winter-and had to leave the house! Could it be old gas? If not that are any of the cords close to a heat source?
