freezer not working ariston mba3842c?

the lcd is saying the temp is to low tried adjusting but a warning buzer comes back on

I have unplugged appliance to defrost, however, neither the fridge or the freezer will work after plugging back in and I have a waited a lot longer than 8 minutes as mentioned in the manual.
