I have had reason to buy a new clock for my Worcester Boiler, 28CDi which I have had for 10 yrs. I was told it was Part No 7716 192 0020. I purchased a new clock and the store assured me it was correct, although looking at it, it is the same size, the differences are that whilst mine had a screw fitting in the centre, this one doesn't.
However, the person I called out to take a look the boilder is not sure about the difference in the wiring. He has taken it with him and told me he will find out, but I also would like to know, because the wiring is different colours on the new on and whilst the old one was taken out easily because it had these 4 plugs. What colours should the new wiring be, and which colours should it be attached to of the old wiring, which is still attached to the boiler. Would appreciate you kind knowledge as soon as you possible can. I am 72 yrs of age and live alone, therefore am trying to be very careful and sensible. As you hear so much of gas explosions in the News lately, I don't want to be another fatality.
