Mend Volkswagen Water Leak Heating System

water leak in my golf gti?

my mk2 golf gti 1800 8valve is having water flooding through the heating system every time i rev the car it coming from the water tank that should be going to the radiator please help iv only had this 20 mins before it happened

maybe the heater core? is the water coming inside the car, or from the expansion tank from the radiator?
