My transit van semms to be suffering from a short, when I put the ignition on the dash lights just flash and there is no power to start the van. Where is the ecu located...and could this be the problem.. theres been lots of rain here recently.

not normally a problem with them vans having water ingress. i'd be inclined to check your earth lead to the battery from the floor its under the drivers seat and they corrode where theyt bolt to floor just give it a clean up and see how you go. you'l need a 15mm socket to remove the bolt
