can anyone help. i can hear people talking to me but they can not hear me. have tried master reset but still got the problem

Your microphone is faulty pete, could be just dust that is causing the problem?
Remove the front fascia, get a T6 screwdriver & whizz the screws out, get a tiny paint brush or similar & dust it out, if it's the same just get a new mic.
