The usual method of removing a bolt where its head has been rounded off is to hammer on a smaller good quality 12 point socket. Then use a socket wrench to wind it out.
As David has recommended, soak it in penetrating oil or Plus Gas for a few days first.
You may need the "EasyOut" tool if the head shears off, or, alternatively drill the bolt out with a drill bit of a smaller diameter than the minor diameter of the bolt. Re-tap the female thread afterwards so that a new replacement bolt will fit nicely. Use copper grease when re-assembling.
