Mend Ford Mondeo Power Replaced Ago

Ford Mondeo power steering failure again?

I had the steering rack replaced 14 month ago on my X reg. Mondeo 2.0 litre with a reconditioned one, the other day the power steering failed again.
I can still steer but no assist, I have had the pump replaced still no luck, the garage recon’s it’s the steering rack.
Is this just unlucky or is there another problem that could cause the steering rack to fail?

Hi sorry i cant solve this,but did you ever get it sorted and are the symptoms you had a knock felt when you change gear and the car wanting to follow the camber in the road as i have this aswell on my 06 mondy im after the answer 2, please help. thanks
