Mend Heating System Bathroom Radiator

what part do I need?

Have old central heating system and had new bathroom. Plumber removed radiator small double rad and replaced with heated towel rail. Threw out old rad and now I am left with the two thin pipes up through tiled floor with radiator valve on top and a long thin bendy metal tube and the tap /valve turned off. The towel rail has been capped at one end as it presumably needs altering from two wider connectors one at bottom on each side to a single connection. I presume it needs some sort of adaptor fitting but the plumber either can't or can't be bothered to find one. The heating system is approx 30 years old but was working fine and is still doing so but without the bathroom being heated. I did ask him if the towel rail would fit before he removed the old rad and of course he said it would. Any advice please?

Yes Iain, I have found a picture on the internet of a Yorkshire valve so can verify that it is the same. I presume the valve has to be cut off in order to separate the pipes, I have the plumbers brochure showing the towel rail I purchased with the relevant information. If I take a photo of the valve and the brochure, will the merchant be able to advise which bits I need to lengthen the severed pipes and also the ones needed to attach it to the towel rail? I am more hopeful of getting it sorted now thanks, was beginning to think that the parts needed were obsolete and that was why the builder was not returning my calls or answering my messages. I presume he didn't know how to do it. I will get another plumber to do the job once I get the parts. Many thanks to all concerned for the help.

if its a yorkshire valve with flow and return pipes into brass assembly with valve and a rod which used to go along bottom of the radiator (old rad had one valve? with 2 pipes going into it?) it should just need the two pipes to old vlave seperated/cut and connected one to either end of towel rail
