Isar Boiler Flame detection error. Flashing L/F?

its an he 30 isar boiler is there anything I can do its saying l and f thanx

Dave thanks for the advice. Just had the same problem with my Isar combi boiler, after looking at the siphon trap found this to be blocked, cleaned it out and fingers crossed appears to be working now.

Hi,
I have an Isar HE30 COMBI boiler. I had it fitted about 4 years ago. I have just had the same thing go wrong with mine. I got up one morning and L-F was flashing. As a woman on my own, I didn't know what to do so I switched the whole thing off at the socket. Left if for about 10 mins, and switched it on again. It worked - and touch wood the boiler is ok so far. It had been very windy, and I am not sure if that had anything to do with it. Hope this is of some use.

Check the siphon trap under the boiler isn't blocked or as most faults on these if there is a black pcb it needs changing for the current red pcb
