Mend Protherm 80e Boiler Pressure Central Heating

Protherm 80e Combi Boiler?

Can anyone tell me how I reduce the boiler pressure please. It goes up to just under 3 Bar when I have the central heating on. i have been told that the pressure valve can/will blow at 3 Bar, which is what I am trying to remedy before it does.

i could do with some advice please.

to the left of the diverter valve there is a drain tap you could relieve some pressure from there or even at a rad vent.you could also manually operate the emergency vent valve to reduce the pressure.

Rod,
It apears that your expansion vessel has failed which is positioned at the rear of the boiler you need a CORGI Reg heating engineer to repair the boiler safely.
