i want to download pics from my p1000 digital camera but the instruction manual is useless, and the lead supplied seems to be the wrong one, please help i need some wedding photos downloaded ASAP .

One thing forgot to ask did the USB cable come with the camera and have you loaded the software?
Mine plugs in and when camera turned on download options come up on screen.

What's the make of it I've searched and found Samsung and downloaded the manual if it is I'll post how to download pics if I can find out how or may have to tell you to contact www.samsung.co.uk tech advice/help section.

You will need the lead which goes from your camera to your PC, if you say its the wrong one then simply you cant till you get the right one.
