sounds like your timer is going out on you . to remove the timer , take the knoboff the timer , there are 2 screws behind it . now take the top part off your washer , to get at the back of the timer . remove plug. remove the 2 screws now . go to a appliance website and enter in the model and serial nuber of your washer , click on timers. on your timer there is a # look for that one. BTW the knob unscrews from the timer front , hold the dial and turn counterclockwise
