Mend Hotpoint WD61 Washing Machine No Power

W/D hotpoint wd61?

My Hotpoint W/Dryer 1100 Aquarius WD61 works then seems too have no power. Leave for a long time & switch back on & will come back too life. This could be weeks. Have not done anything too the machine in this time. I have checked fues & loose wires,ect.I think it could be the door but i have checked that as well.So if you have had this before please let me know how too put it right.Many thanks Barry. Cheers.

Check your door interlock
Get to it by removing part of the door seal where the catch locks the machine.You could try giving it a thump by the side of the door where the lock fits this sometimes cures the prob.give it a go.
