car wont beep when light are on and i open the door?

when i open the doors of my car, normally you can here a beep to tell you the lights are still on, but it doesnt do it any ideas? the car is a 02 plate ford fiesta, if this helps

I found the rubber seal sometimes gets in the way of the switch, move the seal slightly and push the switch in and out to see if it works.

try changing the switch that puts your interior light on you will find it on your door frame this worked with mine
