Bought at Aldi Gardenline lawn mower?

I want to replace a mains cable for a lawnmower bought at Aldi Model TLM-1800/2006

My 575ex gardenline self propelled lawnmower does not self propel as it should when operating the drive lever when under load cutting grass ?It was working last year before it was stored up. The drive belt is not broken and it turns the rear drive wheels ok through the transmission unit on the rear axel the mower has been used not that much since I bought it. Can any one offer any help to diagnose the problem.P.s I have tried adjusting the drive take up cable but it only improves the drive system very little ?Thank's in advance.

Have bought one and havnt had a single problem.starting issues and plugs fouling are fuel related,use good clean fuel and never let them run dry,if they are stored correctly each time you stop them then there are no issues,the correct way to store any 4 stroke mower is with the front in the air,this stops oil from collecting in the valves and cylinder.if this has occurred pour fuel directly into air cleaner hole,couple of pulls and away she goes.always follow the starting instructions for any engine..

Best way to fix it is to throw it away. They are really poor quality crap. Not worth trying to fix. The crank on mine bent when I hit a rock, only 6 months old and Aldi won't honour warranty. Now it is junk.

Yes, the TELM-1800 of 2008. After I hit an obstacle (piece of wood) the machine went on. 2 minutes later I hit a piece of grass with mud and then the mower stopped. After reading the manual I didn't do anything and waited for an hour. But unfortunately the mower doesn't work anymore. What could be the problem? Is the motor burned ( It does not smell burned) or is it a fuse or what? Please help.

I bought an (Aldi) Gardenline petrol mower just over a year ago. I've always found it difficult to use. It's difficult to start and it doesn't run smoothly. When it gets warm it can suddenly stop for no reason. I've also gone through a number of spark plugs and they keep back-firing. The spark plugs are often full of carbon after one use and need to be cleaned frequently. The mower is still under warranty but after sales support is not very helpful. They just told me to replace the spark plug.
