Does the one control work both the throttle and the choke?
If so, slacken off the cable clamp where it is attached to the engine. Move throttle control to FAST. Move cable back/forward in the (loose) clamp to the point at which the choke actuating rod just starts to move. Tighten clamp. Check that if the throttle is moved up to CHOKE, that it does actually activate the choke. Then check that when the control is pulled back, the choke comes off at the 'FAST' position. There should be enough travel on the lever to pull the engine all the way down to idle speed. If the engine cuts out with the trrottle all the way down, adjust the engine idle speed screw to obtain a solid idle.
