Circular saw burnt out?

I recently purchased on holiday to France a Circular saw Model CS-1200. Onmy second use of the saw, which is brand new purchased June 2008. It blue the circuit breaker ln the house and started to burn and stopped woking. I do not now have the reciept. What do i do to get repaired or replaced as it is well within the 1 Year guarantte
