craftsman 25cc weedeater won't go above idle?

09/07/08 Can someone help me, please?
My 25cc craftsman weed-eater will start, but even after warming up with the choke closed, it will die when I pull the high speed trigger. Would like to find a repair manual for this bad boy also.

have the same problem.. one year and one month after i bought it.. bought a new carb and no improvement .. changed gas no improvement short of paying sear to fix it i am at a loss.

I had the same problem. A friend who works at ACE hardware suggested changing to 89 octane gas. I did that plus blew out the carb with a little compressed air and the thing worked like a champ
