Mend Simpson Maxidry 1000 Dryer Repair Element

How to fix my Simpson Maxidry 1000 Dryer?

My Simpson Maxidy 1000 dryer has stopped blowing hot air. I checked the warm/hot switch on the front and one of the 3 connections was black. I have tested the switch and re terminated the burnt lug connector.
I have tested the element and it reads 35 ohms with a digital meter. Can anyone tell me where to test next?

Check the fan pulley. It may be broken. The element at 35 ohms is correct.
Remove long black cover on back panel to expose the belt. Just one screw.
