thanks Bob, but my problem is that the radio is locked ie it doesn't prompt for a code, it says instead "LOCK 13"
How do I get it off the "Lock 13"status and on to the "Code" status so that I can then put the code number in??

you need the code.it should be on a card with your cars manual or in the book for the radio.if you havent got this you need to contact ford.they will have the code for that radio.you may need to give them the vehicle details
