i installed a shower about 2 years ago and upto about 4 week ago it worked fine, now there is little preasure from the shower. coule this be down to build up of limescale.

It could be limescale but not not always in the shower. Have you checked the holes in the shower head recently. If it you can not see blockage try removing head and check what flow you get.
The other thing to check is that a lot of manufacturers now fit small filters in the inlet manifold of the shower. Check this is not blocked.
