BENDIX 1000 RPM AUTOWASHER B/W 104 W?

AFTER THE WASH/RINSE CYCLE THE SOFTENER PART OF THE POWDER TRAY/COMPARTMENT REMAINS FULL OR IS FULL OF WATER - IT DOES NOT EMPTY.

ALSO THIS COMPARTMENT NEEDS CLEANING ON A WEEKLY BASIS AS IT BECOMES BLACK WITH MILDEW/MOULD DESPITE 3-4 WASHES A WEEK.

ANY SOLUTIONS??

remove the plastic bit with MAX on it from the conditioner compartment.you will see tubes with holes in.these must be clear to allow water to syphon away during the wash cycle.
