Mend Start Carb Petrol

my carboruter leaking ?

when i start my bike and leave it running till its turns off the carb starts leaking petrol for a few minutes how do i stop this

try tapping the float bowl(lowest part of carb)with a screwdriver handle or similar softish object.your problem is a stcking/?/leaking float valve.hitting it sometimes shocks the valve free,but most times it needs the carb dismantled and cleaned.analgous to a leaking toilet systern.same engineering.
