my sky remote wont control the volume on my sonix soo15 tv. it works everything else. have spoken to sky but they suggested getting in touch with sonix but i dont have the manual anymore .
If you have Sky HD look in the user guide on page 56, remote control setup,reset your remote and the volume will work.
I dont see a code for Sonix but as Chicken fan says try using Orion

The volume control didn't work on the old ntl remote controls either.
This wasn't a fault with the equipment, just that the facility hadn't been enabled by ntl.
Perhaps the same is true with your stb?
You may have to make do with using the volume control on your television instead.
