how cam i replace the switch of my TEFAL VITESSE?

Remove lid by opening and then forcing apart two flanges so it lifts off he pins on which it rotates.Undo two screws which were concealed by lid. I havent gone any further as I discovered switch was working but plastic mechanism connecting button to switch had broken. Havent yet found replacement pat but await respons from partmaster who may have it.
