Mend TomTom One Charging Sat Nav

no power even after charging tomtom one sat nav?

I fully charged my tomtom sat nav on the ac mains and it will not switch on. The charging lite appears when plugged in though.What could the problem be and can it be repaired , at what cost ? many thanx
