MY tomtom one is not charging?

my tomtom one, is 3 years old, i use the ciggarate lighter adaptor, my sat nav is not charging, the green light does not stay on..

could it be it needs a new battery?

i had same problem with my tomtom..the green light comes on when i contect the charger but don't come on..i was lucky enough to have a mate u fixed the problem for me on the cheap..he only charged me £35 for parts and labour he contact details 01217727521.

i bought a new battery but the tom tom wont charge even with the home charger

yeah send it back to tomtom and let them charge you more than it worth to fix... nice idea

its either the charger or probably the socket on the tomtom.

Test the charger on another tomtom or even better test another charger on your tomtom incase your adaptor is faulty.

Wiggle the adaptor in the tomtom see if the light comes on.

Nothing to do with the battery.
