i recently had the same problem. Unfortunately my belt had broke. I changed that and now the drum tries to turn but the pullie thing that the belt connects to is loose so now im trying to figure out how to change that...hope that helps

Have you checked the belt ? If that's OK then suspect the motor not turning !! Maybe the carbon brushes are worn out ?
If so - new carbon brushes !!
When checking the machine please disconnect from the mains !
