Hi

Make the obvious connections! i.e.

Connect roof aerial lead to its Antenna In.
With a Scart lead, connect "TV Scart" to your TV's "AV1 Scart" if free or the TV's "AV2 Scart" if not.

If wanting to record Freeview, with another Scart lead, connect "VCR Scart" to your VCR or DVDR's "Decoder Scart". To record the Matsui's pictures, you'll need to set the VCR/DVDR's "Pr/Ch" to "A2" for digital - instead of a numeral "1-5" for analogue.

The only non-obvious matter, is that if the Matsui has moved across the country (e.g. it's used), it'll need "re-scanning" to tune to your local TV transmitter. In its on-screen menus, under Setup/Installation/Configuration, look for and use a "Scan for Channels" or "Factory Reset" option.

AFAIK, the Wharfedale DV832B is a "clone" model of the Matsui DTR1, so instructions for that may be applicable.
