how do i unblock my dishwasher?

Blockage will probably be in or near the pump.
Unplug DW from power supply
Disconnect water fill hose.
unhook the drain hose
Pull unit out into a clear space on the floor. Drain as much water as you can by lowering the drain hose to a bowl on the floor. The more you get out ,the less water mess you will have around you while you work.
Very carefully, tip the machine on it's back. Locate the pump and disconnect the rubber hoses. You will now have to look and probe to find your blockage. Check that the pump blades turn freely if not there may be something jammed in the pump body.
Make sure your hoses are tight before testing.
