How old is this boiler? If its over 12 years old, Im thinking of changing it as Im not sure it will last next winter.

I don't know if this is like my old ferroli combi boiler, but with that you have to hold the ignition button in for up to 10 seconds, then it works. Have you got it sorted now? lizhewitt@zoom.co.uk

If the thermocouple has been changed PROPERLY then it is probably the gas valve.
