Mend Security Alarm Power Cut

Alarm won't work after power cut?

We had a powercut this morning now my house alarm won't work. The light comes on the keypad when you press the numbers but there is nothing on the top row were it shows you what zone has been activated. I have pressed 'reset' but nothing happens

power your panel down ,open up your panel disconnect the battery power your panel up mains only not battery then put battery back and refit lid type in your code and press reset ,if this does not work come back on site with the make of alarm.
