Hotpoint First Edition 800 - where is filter located?

The WM51 does NOT have a filter-it all goes down the drain and if, like me, you only have a narrow waste pipe, (which gets caked up by the fluff that would have been trapped if it did have a filter) this has to be cleaned out or checked every few months else you get motor burn-out due to the machine not being able to empty, but keeping on trying until something goes phut! Can't help with the dirty marks, though.

Filter locations

There are 3 possible places to look, (as each machine model is made differently)
1) If machine has a square flap fitted on the front filter maybe located behind this. (No luck try next one)
2) It could be located behind the front lower kick panel (remove panel to see). (No luck it’s definitely in the last one)
3) It is located inside the sump hose, this is the big black hose that is attached to the bottom of the outer drum.

IN ALL CASES be prepared for WATER SPILLAGE old towel will be useful

SORRY BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO MODIFY THE KITCHEN IF YOU INTEND TO DO OWN REPAIRS NEED ACCESS ALL AROUND THE MACHINE
